The SafeTRACK© Profile

Total Control Systems UK Ltd (TCS) main Enterprise level solution is a Window's Server / Client system called WIZDOM©, originally developed over ten years ago. Wizdom© was the first set of of real time, fully integrated Supply Chain Traceability Applications and Modules. Directors of TCS have over thirty years practical, operational & software experience in Supply Chain and IT Industries.

SafeTRACK© system is a smaller range of internet based, stand alone solutions created over five years ago.

SafeTRACK© solutions have to be Smart, Simple and Speedy with total traceability at the core!

Clients deployed SafeTRACK because they needed a quick return on investment, quick implementations, quick installations, little or no training, little or no keyboard skills, a solution not dependant on User experience or knowledge, not dependant on infrastructure, not dependant on hardware, not dependant on ongoing 'hand holding' by IT, Technical or QC staff! However, collectively IT, Technical, Quality, Production and Operations share the same Management reporting tools to totally control each process.

Our clients immediately had worldwide, 24 by 7 access and a competitive advantage. This flexible and portable interface is a way of monitoring fast moving goods, recording Quality Control results, creating Quality Assurance protocols. Also it can be used to track and trace business processes or products that travel through a complex, intermodal supply chains. Updating from / to remote business sites, interfacing with an ERP or Enterprise Systems, which can be based from a central administration location or stand alone office, and / or the other side of the world in a developing country speaking multiple languages!

Under Regulation (EC) No.178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002, it lays down "the principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European Food Safety Authority.....". Under general food law, "Food safety and the protection of consumer interests are of increasing concern to the general public, non-governmental organisations, professional associations, international trading partners and trade organisations.

Therefore, the Regulation establishes a framework for the greater involvement of stakeholders AT ALL STAGES in the development of food law and establishes the mechanisms necessary to increase consumer confidence in food law. The consumer confidence is an essential outcome of a successful food policy and is therefore A PRIMARY GOAL OF EU ACTION related to food. TRANSPARENCY of legislation and effective public consultation are essential elements of building this greater confidence. Better communication about food safety and the evaluation of potential risks, INCLUDING FULL TRANSPARENCY of scientific opinions, are of key importance."
